Congrats to the 2014 Interns!

Congratulations to our new interns for 2014! Pictured here are four of the interns - Beth-Anne Salzer, Elsie Daoust, Shannon Doyle and Kip Jorgensen during their pre-departure training at UVic. Most of the interns leave in June.

The total list of 2014 interns are:

Elsie Daoust is currently in her fourth year at UVic, completing a double major with honours in history and political science. Elsie will be working as a program assistant with Migrant Forum in Asia, in Quezon City in the Philippines.

Harrison Ellis is pursuing a degree in Political Science at UVic, is completing a second placement, this time at the National Domestic Workers Movement in Chennai, India.

Shannon Doyle is working towards her MA in Dispute Resolution at UVic, and will be working at the Centre for Migrant Advocacy in Quezon City in the Philippines.

Kip Jorgensen is working towards a BA in Political Science with a self-directed minor in Global South Development. He will be working at the Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit, in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Sean Grisdale is finishing his BA in Geography with a minor in Environmental Studies at UVic. He will be joining CITYNET in Yokohama, Japan.

Alanah Nasadyk is working towards a BA in Pacific and Asian Studies and Environmental Studies. She will also be going to CITYNET in Yokohama, Japan.

Beth-Anne Salzer is currently working towards her degree with a double major in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She will be working with AHRCDF in Kathmandu, Nepal.
