Francine Proctor

I graduated with an LLB from UVic Law in 2001 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2003. Since then, I have worked in private legal practice and within government.

I hold a Bachelor of Education from UBC and was a teacher prior to attending law school. My background in education and law has been of great benefit in my current position. As the law co-op coordinator, I oversee the operation of the law co-op program — a unique program in Canada that allows students to combine academic terms with work terms. I enjoy working with students and employers to develop and deliver a positive and meaningful experiential learning program for the Faculty of Law.
