Langford-Seaborne Scholarship
One or more scholarships of at least $1,000 each are awarded to First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit graduate students in the School of Public Administration. If there are no eligible graduate students, First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit undergraduate students in the Indigenous Community Development and Governance Diploma in the School of Public Administration may receive the scholarship.
Undergraduate students apply via the Online Tools, online undergraduate application by May 31st. Graduate students must apply in writing to the School of Public Administration. Graduate recipients will be approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee and undergraduate recipients will be approved by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Public Administration.
Applicants who have indicated they are First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit for this award are required to demonstrate their eligibility for Indigenous-specific awards in alignment with the Indigenous Citizenship Declaration (ICD) Policy (GV0810).

Eligibility
Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average and any additional criteria that has been established by the donor. Awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units. Unless otherwise noted in the award description, you must be a full-time graduate student.
Retaining funding
Ongoing UVic graduate funding requires students to maintain a minimum level of academic standing and some ongoing maintenance.
