Work study
Working to pay for one’s university studies is a reality for most students. Organized through UVic Student Awards and Financial Aid, the work study program creates paid part-time employment opportunities from September to April of each year for students who have documented financial need. Job postings for the upcoming academic year will be made available in September.
Students do not only profit financially from this employment but are able to more easily schedule work hours around courses while they learn other important skills.
