Bursaries
Bursaries are non-repayable monetary awards based on financial need, meant to supplement, not replace, other forms of financial assistance. Students can apply to receive these awards if they:
- are receiving the maximum student loans available for their period of study,
- maintain registration in at least 4.5 units (or 3.0 units if registered with CAL),
- maintain registration in at least 12 consecutive weeks of study during the term when they receive a bursary,
- and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
General Bursaries are offered twice per year during the following times:
- Summer session (May-August). Apply before June 1.
- Winter session (September-April). Apply before October 15.
