Docusign is a cloud-based platform for managing and electronically signing documents. It allows users to create, send, sign, and track agreements digitally from anywhere. Docusign creates legally binding e-signatures. This can eliminate the need for printing, scanning, or faxing documents.

Licensing
UVic has a master agreement in place with DocuSign. UVic departments can be licensed under this agreement.
If you want to use Docusign in your department, contact Purchasing to get a quote for an annual license. Licensing costs range from $5000-$10000 per year.

Privacy
UVic has completed a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for DocuSign. Your department may or may not be covered by this PIA depending on the nature of your business processes. Please check with the privacy office prior to purchasing.
