New NIH Requirements for Research Security

NIH recently announced institutional and individual research security requirements underscoring the importance of research security training (effective January 25, 2026) and non-participation in malign foreign talent programs (effective September 11, 2025). UVic researchers planning on submitting or participating in NIH proposals are recommended to connect with the Research Security Unit for further guidance.
