What Is SDGs-in-Action?
SDGs-in-Action is a short, flexible online learning opportunity designed to help you make the most of your time abroad by linking your experience to real-world challenges.

Open to students on international exchange, co-op or other UVic international mobility programs.
How it Works
- Check out the course map, which outlines the following steps:
- Begin the course either before, or at the very start of your international opportunity.
- Complete 4 short learning modules via BrightSpace, at your own pace.
- Design and execute, or actively participate in a community engagement project at your host university.
- Submit a final reflection to receive your certificate of completion!

Morgan is a 5th year biology student with a marine biology concentration. She organized a blood drive at Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya while working as a pediatric neurology research assistant.
Lauren is a recently graduated business major who organized a food drive for the local charity Second Harvest while on international co-op in Tokyo, Japan.
