Level Up Award presented by Codename Entertainment

Dear Third Year Students,
Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the Level Up Award presented by Codename Entertainment.
Terms of Award
One or more awards are given to undergraduate students continuing in fourth year in either the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Software Engineering who have an interest in game development.
Applicants must:
1. submit a letter (maximum 500 words) answering the question "What do video games mean to you?",
2. have demonstrated a strong aptitude for programming, and
3. have demonstrated an interest in game development through:
- previous experience developing games, internships, co-ops, or work experience in the video game industry participation in Game Jams
- developing personal game projects
- membership or participation in groups such as the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) or UVicGameDev
Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
