Peer Assisted Student Success (PASS)
The Peer Assisted Student Success program aims to support Engineering and Computer Science students by helping them find supports, build a community and assisting them in navigating through their undergraduate programs.
The advising team is comprised of fellow students in upper-year Engineering and Computer Science who can assist with anything you may want to know from another student. This team can assist you with:
- Basic course planning assistance
- Campus engagement and clubs
- Strategies for succeeding in your classes
- Finding Co-ops
- Or any other tips for success!
You can email the PASS team at ecspass@uvic.ca anytime to ask a question or set up a meeting outside of the drop-in hours.

Drop-in sessions
Drop-in sessions are held in ECS 253.
Spring 2026 drop-in schedule
- Mondays: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Fridays: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
