Support for students, staff, and faculty

The policy affirms UVic’s commitment to providing support to all members of the university community who experience or are impacted by sexualized violence.

The Sexualized Violence Resource Office in Equity and Human Rights was created to provide accessible information about support options and to coordinate those supports in partnership with other units on campus including Campus Security, Student Affairs, Human Resources and Faculty Relations.

The Sexualized Violence Resource Office can also coordinate support for accessing services off campus.

For any requests for confidential advice, questions about the policy, support options, voluntary resolution process or the investigation process please call us 250-721-8021 or email to book a virtual or in-person appointment. You are welcome to bring a support person to any meeting. In the case of faculty or staff, this may include a colleague or union steward.
