Card types

Student ONECard

UVic students registered in credit courses in the current term are eligible for a UVic ONECard. You must wait 24 hours after registering for courses to order your card. 

Most continuing studies students are eligible for a ONECard. Those enrolled in community courses, however, are not eligible.

If you are an online or distance student studying from elsewhere in Canada or the USA, we can mail your card for a $20 fee.

Faculty & Staff ONECard

New faculty/staff can apply online or visit us in person. 

After creating your NetLink ID, please wait 24 hours and then order your card. 

Alumni Card

The Alumni ONECard gives you access to special offers from dozens of businesses and services, both on- and off-campus.

Cards are available for all graduates of the UVic, Victoria College and Provincial Normal School for a one-time fee of $20. Visit us to get your card.  

Affiliate Card

Affiliate cards have all the same perks as a UVic ONECard and cost $20. After creating your NetLink ID, please wait 24 hours and then order your card. 

UVic departments can charge their FAST account for the affiliate card. Complete a request form to get started

UVic retirees

UVic retirees get a free UVic affiliate card. Visit us to get your card.    

Guest Card

Visitors to UVic can obtain a GUESTCard free-of-charge from the ONECard office.

You can use your GUESTCard for fast and convenient financial transactions at the UVic Bookstore, UVSS Food Outlets, CARSA, Zap and Campus Pharmacy. You'll also get a 5% discount at all University Food Services outlets. GUESTCards can not be used for door access.

ID Badge

The ONECard office issues custom UVic ID badges for those who require specific kinds of identification.  All badges require a departmental authorization form

Department Card

The department charge card is for staff and faculty to use for food purchases during department meetings, for university guests and catering services.

It can be used exclusively at all University Food Services locations. Contact eat@uvic.ca to apply.

Door Access

All ONECards can be encoded with door access.  Each department/unit is responsible for providing (and removing) access to their individual areas. 

Tired of keys and looking to add card access to your area/door?  Please contact Facilities Management to get a card access lock installed.  Remember to ask for ONECard access in your request.
