We are committed to educating and protecting faculty, staff, students and visiting researchers who work with or around radiation and/or x-ray equipment.
Which Radiation and/or X-Ray safety course(s) do I need?
Radiation Safety
This course is offered in the classroom upon request.
You must complete Radiation Safety training prior to working with radiation.
The objective of this course is to ensure the safe and knowledgeable handling of radiation hazards in the teaching and research environment. In addition to theory, this course also offers a practical hands-on approach to working with radiation.

Radiation Safety Refresher
This online course is intended for those who have previously completed Radiation Safety in the class and now require the refresher course (every 3 years).
