Ring Road at the Mearns Centre-McPherson Library to the Cheko’nien House building crossing.

Facilities Management will work with Aral Construction (2014) Ltd.
on the installation of two pedestrian control lights at the Mearns
Centre-McPherson Library to the Cheko’nien House building
crossing (new location of the Rainbow Crosswalk). The project will
begin on Monday, December 15, 2025, and is scheduled to end in
January 2026.

There will be lanes closures (one lane at a time) to carried out
construction activities on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 8:00
am to 12:00 pm and on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 8:00
am to 11:00 am.

The pedestrian crossing will remain open.

Refer to attached map for location of the pedestrian control lights,
new Rainbow Crosswalk and lanes closures.

Please follow all traffic signage and traffic personnel.

Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Thursday, December 18, 2025, 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
