PCH AHU 2 Air Balancing and Repairs Extension

* Shutdown Extension AHU2 - Revision 3 *

Facilities Management, JB Sheetmetal and Rain City Technical have completed rebalancing and repair work to AHU 1. All fume hoods in the AHU 1 system have been re- certified and are now safe to use.

The project team has needed to make unexpected repairs within the existing systems serving AHU2 to allow the rebalancing work to complete. To attend to these issues, we will need to extend the outage of AHU2 fume hoods until Monday morning at 7:00 am. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

As before, this work will involve air flow variation and technicians will be in many spaces taking measurements. Fume hoods may appear to be continuing to draw air, but airflows will be unreliable and may stop abruptly, so we ask that you refrain from using them during this time.
