Petch Air Balancing and Repairs

Facilities Management JB Sheetmetal and Rain City Technical have
restarted their air balancing efforts in your building.

As before, technicians will be shutting down fans servicing rooms in
Petch listed above, for one hour and then taking measurements for
airflow in the rooms they service after restarting the fans. There
may be a need to revisit rooms or shut off the fans again
temporarily for testing.

Please take the following precautions:
1. Please refrain from using fume hoods during this time.
2. Please store all hazardous chemicals in the appropriate acid
or flammable cabinets and wipe up any spills inside fume
hoods. Our technicians are unable to tell if a spill is just
water or something more serious.

Mon, April 27, 2026: 7:00am-8:00am Shutdown of FE-1 Fan,
7:00am – 1:00pm Room access to PCH 034, 035, 036, 038
Wed, April 29, 2026: 7:00am-8:00am Shutdown of CAF-3B System,
7:00am – 1:00pm Room access to PCH 159, 057, 059, 068, 252, 257
*PCH 159 will be prioritized to finish first
