Rainbow Crosswalk Project

Ring Road at the Mearns Centre-McPherson Library to the
Cheko’nien House building crossing.

Facilities Management will work with Capital City Paving Ltd. On
the rehabilitation of 51 m2 of asphalt pavement at the Mearns
Centre-McPherson Library to the Cheko’nien House building
crossing (new location of the Rainbow Crosswalk).

There will be lanes closures (one lane at a time) to carry out
construction activities on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 7:00 am to
12:00 pm. The pedestrian crossing will be closed during this time.
Please use alternative pedestrian crossings.

Please follow all traffic signage and traffic personnel.

Refer to attached map for location of the lanes closures.
