Engineering Expansion Fire Alarm Network Impacts

UVic campus buildings on Network B

With the ongoing work at the Engineering Computer Science Expansion project there have been some temporary changes to our fire alarm network. The network will be displaying a "Network Communication Trouble". This trouble will not affect the operation of the fire alarm system in the building, and there is no need to respond to this message. This is a known trouble condition at the Expansion building and is being displayed across the network.

The timeline for this is trouble on the fire panels will be from June 26th, 2026 until July 24th, 2026.
