ELW Safety and Energy Upgrades- Off Hours Fume Hood Impacts
Engineering Lab Wing
Aral Construction and FMGT will be installing heat recovery coils in remaining four air handlers in the engineering Lab Wing over the course of this year. To prepare for this work, we will be briefly shutting down some air handlers serving the ELW B wing, off hours, to allow safe contractor access for measurements. This shutdown will temporarily affect the containment ability of associated fume hoods. Any mechanically vented storage cabinets will be unaffected.
During this time, we request that you close fume hood sashes and refrain from using the hoods. We apologise for any inconvenience.
