ECS removal of south temporary drywall hoarding wall to new ECSE building

ECS interior atrium south face to new ECSE building

In support of the Engineering Expansion Project, Bird Construction has
removed the temporary south drywall wall in the ECS building atrium, so
that it can be connected to the new ECSE building atrium. A temporary
full poly enclosure has been put in place until the new ECSE building is
ready to open in September. Work to install new flooring and guardrails
is underway at all ECS south ramps that connect the east and west sides.
In order to accomplish this work these connecting ramps will be closed
temporarily.

Note: There is a temporary Emergency Exit Only route in place for the ECS
east side while the south ramp is closed – see attached map. This
Emergency Exit route should be used only if other floor exits were unsafe
to access. Campus Security fire watch will be in place after hours while
this work is ongoing. Note: There will be noise associated with this work.

Level 6 & 5: May 25-June 11: ramp closure in effect throughout.
Level 4 & 3: May 29-June 11: ramp closure in effect throughout.
Level 2 & 1: June 6-June 17: L2 ramp closure in effect throughout.
