Cornett Building - Partial Roof Replacements 2026

Cornett A Wing, B Wing, and walkway roofs

Facilities Management is working with Universal Sheet Metal Ltd.,
on the replacement of the roof. The contractor will begin removing
the gravel ballast and other existing roof materials on Thursday,
September 24, 2026, and will continue working on construction
activities until November 9, 2026. The contractor will also carry out
construction work on weekends.

Noisy work is scheduled to take place between 5:00 a.m. and 8:30
a.m. on weekdays and without restrictions on weekends.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the contractor will install a
construction dumpster to store the gravel ballast removed from
the roof at the location indicated on drawing SK1; the container will
remain on site until Tuesday, September 29, 2026, and will be
cordoned off with safety tape. On Thursday, September 24,2026 a
mobilization area will be set up at the location indicated on the
attached drawing SK2.

Work related to the asbestos removal is scheduled to conclude
tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Time frame: Wednesday, September 23 to November 9, 2026.
From 5:00 am to 5:00 pm
