25-06698 ELL Phys Lab Reno – ELL Power Outage

Elliot Building and Lecture Theatre

The contractor CGI and their subcontractor, Resa power, will be taking measurement of electrical infrastructure which requires a full building power outage September 1, 2026 6pm- 8pm.
Important information:

􀁸 To ensure your electronic equipment is protected, please shut down your computer, turn off monitors and other electronic devices and unplug power cords from power outlets, including power bars and any sensitive scientific equipment.
􀁸 All unauthorized personnel to vacate the building by 5:30pm.
􀁸 UPS room and Mass Spectrometer equipment appear to be on generator backup.
􀁸 If you have any concerns regarding equipment being offline for 2 hours (such as deep freezers), please consult your faculty’s administrative officer and the FMGT Project Manager.

If you have any other concerns, please reach out to the Project Manager.
