We're working together to develop the technological leaders of the future.

Research partnerships

UVic's research partnerships team connects industry, government and business partners with cross-campus research expertise.

The team can also help you access sponsored research and technology development funding programs.

Outreach programs

Our community engagement programs teach all ages about computer science. They give our students volunteer experience and valuable connections.

For more information on our outreach programs, contact Celina Berg, outreach, recruitment and retention coordinator, or Irene Statham, undergraduate adviser.

Industry partnerships

We are proud to feature partnerships with local industries.

Ruboss

Ruboss is a boutique consulting firm focused on strategy and AI consulting and web development. They own and operate Leanpub, the best way to write, publish and sell an in-progress or completed ebook or online course.

Ruboss was co-founded by Peter Armstrong, who graduated from UVic with a double major in computer science and psychology. Ruboss and Peter are great supporters of the computer science program. "UVic is one of our secret weapons. We love recruiting directly out of its computer science program to get amazingly talented developers." - Peter Armstrong

Codename Entertainment

Codename Entertainment is a Victoria company with strong ties to UVic. Co-founders David Whitaker and Justin Stocks are both UVic computer science graduates. Together with CEO and fellow UVic alumnus Eric Jordan, Codename is a top employer in UVic's co-op program.
