Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSEng)
Software powers modern life — from smart cities and self-driving cars to healthcare and critical infrastructure. In the Bachelor of Software Engineering program, you’ll learn how to design and build software systems that society can depend on. You’ll also be able to develop expertise in AI, machine learning and quantum computing.
The Bachelor of Software Engineering program emphasizes:
- designing large-scale software systems in critical, embedded and/or real-time contexts to meet engineering requirements
- rapid, continuous deployment of reliable software
- analyzing and testing software systems to ensure they are reliable, safe, secure and easy to use
- AI literacy
Our program is interdisciplinary. You'll learn from faculty in both the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
