Logins and passphrases
When you set up a NetLink ID or UVic email address, you are required to create a passphrase. If you forget your passphrase, you will be unable to access important UVic resources, such as Online tools, email, library accounts, and computing systems. Never share your passphrase with anyone, ever, for any reason. If you think your passphrase has been compromised, change your passphrase immediately.

Visit the NetLink website to change your passphrase or reset it online if you have forgotten.
What is the cost for this service?
This service is provided free of charge.
When is this service available?
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed. The Computer Help Desk is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
