University Systems provides IT and technical support to everyone at UVic. Support is provided by the Computer Help Desk (CHD) and Desktop Support Services (DSS).
Our response hours are:
- 8am–11pm weekdays
- 10am–10pm weekends
- 10am–6pm on holidays
Classroom AV support is available from 8am-5pm weekdays.
Holiday hours
December 19 (Fri): 8am–10pm
December 20/21 (Sat-Sun): 10am–10pm
December 22/23 (Mon-Tues): 8am–10pm
December 24 (Weds): 8am–4pm
All locations will be closed during UVic's winter break from Dec 25th to January 1st. Reopening to normal hours starting January 2nd.

Open to students, staff and faculty, the Computer Help Desk can assist you with most IT support questions.

Hours: Monday through Friday - 8am to 6pm
Technology Solutions Centre
For staff and faculty to purchase and support UVic managed devices.
Location: Clearihue C143
Hours: Monday through Friday - 1pm to 4pm
In-person support is also available in our computer lab locations.
