Did you know anthropology is one of the departments at UVic participating in the new writers-in-residence pilot program?

We are excited to welcome Aberdeen Roy as our new undergrad writer-in-residence

Aberdeen's prior experience includes their recent ANTH Honours thesis on community building initiatives within the YWCA BC's long-term social housing program for single mothers, and a final project from the 2025 UVic Mexico Ethnographic Field School which focused on community transformation through muralism in Jose Maria Morelos.
