Session Instructor positions
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites expressions of interest for the delivery of one or more courses to be offered in person in the Summer term, May – August 2024.
In keeping with Article 13.01 of the Agreement between UVic and CUPE 4163 (Component 3), Expressions of Interest are being sought from Graduate Students, adjunct faculty, Postdoctoral Fellows and sessional instructors in the department as well as from other interested parties.

Please note that the Department of Mathematics and Statistics reserves the right to fill additional assignments from this applicant pool.

Teaching assistant positions
We hire teaching assistants (TAs) three times a year usually in July, November and March. Our TAs teach tutorials, work as tutors in the Math & Stats Assistance Centre or they work as markers. If you would like to receive an application form next time we hire, or if you have any questions, please send an email to the Marie Marlo-Barski at aofficerms@uvic.ca. If you are a grad student in math or stats you will automatically receive an application form.
