How it works

  1.  Download the PDF of pumpkin carving templates. 
  2. Choose your design and print it out. Templates are organized by perceived level of difficulty. 
  3. Cut out your design and trace it onto the pumpkin, or pin the design to the pumpkin and cut through the paper. Your choice!
  4. Carve the pumpkin and create some science magic!
  5. Send a photo of your science-themed pumpkin to science@uvic.ca. We'd love to see it!
