History: B.A. (College of William and Mary), M.A. (University of Washington), Ph.D. (Indiana University), sessional lecturer, has taught at Cornell College, Indiana University and the University of Washington.

Areas of Specialization: Philosophy of Language, Metaphysics and Epistemology, Linguistic Semantics.

Publications: has published in Indiana University Independent Studies Program, Indiana University Board of Trustees, CSLI Lecture Notes and MIT Working Papers in Linguistics. Dr. Brown has presented papers in the USA and Japan as well as moderating Ethical Perspectives on the News, KCRG TV9, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
