Fairbank Calligraphy Society

The Fairbank Calligraphy Society takes its name from the late Alfred Fairbank, was formed in 1976 to help, encourage and inspire those interested in calligraphy and italic handwriting.  The Society sponsors lectures, slide shows, workshops and meetings for members to share their love of letters. Members can access an extensive library and apply for a bursary to attend calligraphy training.  Social events are also hosted such as a spring retreat, summer picnic and holiday tea.  Newsletters are published four times annually and membership fee is $45 per year.
