Our MA in French and Francophone Studies is tailored for different needs and interests. It comes in two formats: a project-based option and a thesis option (with the possibility of a concentration in Cultural, Social & Political Thought).

Dynamic and designed to foster a close-knit cohort, our MA trains students in a myriad of disciplines, including French, Quebec, Franco-Canadian, Indigenous, African and Caribbean literatures; culture and philosophy; cinema; theatre; research-creation; theoretical and applied linguistics; as well as pedagogy and second-language acquisition.

Placing a special focus on digital cultures and literacies and innovative teaching methods, our MA leads to multiple careers.
