David Eso has served UVic and the Department of English as an elected member of the Graduate Student Society, the Board of Governors, and University Senate. He regularly publishes creative and critical writing and experiments with creative-critical hybridity, particularly in his academic conference papers. Since joining UVic in 2015, he has presented at conferences in New Brunswick, Ontario, and British Columbia as well as in Iceland and Ireland.
