Students should consult advisors in the Academic Advising Centre for questions related to academic program planning, understanding the academic calendar, program declaration and CAPP review, taking courses at other institutions, graduation checks and general wayfinding and support.

Student liaison
In response to the recommendation by the University’s Equity Action Plan that we “honour student perspectives on belonging and inclusion and engage with students to improve teaching and program development,” the Department of English has created the position of student liaison.
The student liaison can help you with:
- concerns related to the classroom, courses or general departmental culture
- advocating on your behalf when appropriate
