Chair in Transgender Studies Master's Degree Research Scholarship for Trans, Non-binary, and Two-Spirit Students

Two or more scholarships will be awarded to current or entering, academically outstanding master’s degree students who self-identify as Trans, Nonbinary, or Two-Spirit and who are pursuing research in any field, including creative or performative activity.

Preference will be given to students who have not previously received an award from the Chair in Transgender Studies, and who demonstrate financial need.

Students need to complete the application form by May 31 and submit to Donja Roberts, Scholarship Administrative Officer, either by email (scholoff@uvic.ca), or in-person to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Jamie Cassels Centre, 2nd Floor, Rm A207.

Eligibility

Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average and any additional criteria that has been established by the donor. Application details, deadlines and eligibility criteria are all listed in the award description. Unless otherwise noted in the award description, you must be a full-time graduate student.
