Treena Stubel

Treena Stubel has been working in theatre for over thirty years as a dancer, actor, choreographer, movement specialist and most recently as a director. She has appeared in over 100 stage productions and has created numerous new dance theatre works for festivals in Canada and abroad. She has received two Monday Magazine Awards, A Chrystal Award, (Best New Initiative for Bounce Performance Works) and nominations for both Sterling and Broadway World Awards (original staging and choreography for the Dora Award winning Ride The Cyclone). Her studies include dance and a diverse range of physical theatre disciplines internationally, a BFA in Theatre from The University of Victoria (acting specialization with distinction), and an MFA in Lecoq Physical Theatre from LISPA in London, UK.
