Ayako Thiessen

Ayako Thiessen is the Department and Graduate Secretary in the Theatre Department. She brings over fifteen years of experience in education, with expertise in Montessori teacher training, program and curriculum development, educational resource creation, and adult education. Her background includes extensive work with adult learners, student support, and teaching students from preschool through Grade 6. Ayako holds both an M.Ed. and a B.Ed. and is an author, consultant, and recognized expert in Montessori education.
