Wildlife Safety

Like all wildlife, deer are best observed at a distance.  During the autumn, the deer "rut" (breeding season) takes place and bucks compete for the attention of the females.  They may roar, bark and clash antlers in an attempt to fight off rivals and attract females.  Facilities Management would like to make the campus community aware that everyone should maintain a safe distance from all deer during this time and be aware of your surroundings.
