Natural science electives

Review of the natural science electives is an on-going process. New requests must meet the CEAB criteria specified below. For new requests, please fill out the natural science request form and email it to the ECE Academic Advisor, Alejandra Montenegro - engradv2@uvic.ca.

Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) definition of basic (natural) sciences:

The basic (natural) science component of the curriculum must include elements of physics and chemistry; elements of life sciences and earth sciences may also be included in this category. These subjects are intended to impart an understanding of natural phenomena and relationships through the use of analytical and/or experimental techniques.
