Support for graduate students

What lies beyond graduate school for you? We're here to help you figure it out. You may be able to complete co-op work terms to gain experience in your field of study, and of course you have access to our full suite of career support, including meeting with career educators, attending workshops, and more.

WORKSHOP - Résumé, CV and cover letter foundations for graduate students - Thursday, Nov 9 from 6:30 - 9 p.m.

Are your résumés, CVs and cover letters effectively showcasing your strengths for the roles you want?

Through your thesis, projects, courses, TA work, publications and other experiences, you have developed numerous skills employers are looking for. These include project management, data management, collaborating with stakeholders and more.

In this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to unpack your valuable skills and experience in a way that demonstrates your competencies to employers, and generates useful content for your resumes, CVs and cover letters, as well as for interviews and networking opportunities.

All grad students welcome.

Register in LIM. Workshop will be held in McPherson Library, room A003 on Thursday, November 9 from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
