LinkedIn Essentials

Are you on LinkedIn? Are you using it effectively?

In this easy-to-follow workshop:

  • you'll start to build a LinkedIn profile from scratch to join more than 80,000 UVic community members on this dynamic platform
  • you'll learn how to research, connect and find a job you love

SMART Résumés

Building a résumé is time-consuming. Speed up the process by attending this SMART résumé session and create a document that will catch an employer’s attention.

This working session will give you an intro to the new VMock Résumé resource. VMock offers instant and targeted suggestions on how to improve your résumé. Included in this session will be a hands-on opportunity to improve your résumé with one-on-one help from a career educator.

We strongly suggest that you bring a Word file of your résumé to upload to the VMock online platform.
