Updates from the Executive Director: Summer 2026
June 26, 2026
Today I’m happy to share with you ACET’s very first newsletter.
Published three times per year (in summer, fall and winter), the ACET Gazette is a place where you can learn about community-led energy transformation from real-world examples, gain insights from experts in the field and hear from the community leaders at the heart of it all.
This milestone is more than the launch of a new publication—it’s a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come and celebrate the people, projects and partnerships that make our work possible.
Over the past two and a half years, we’ve been hard at work building from the ground up. We’ve built an incredible team, established the administrative systems that support our work, settled into our headquarters, launched 71 research projects and developed 210 partnerships that advance long-term sustainability and community resilience.
Like many young organizations, much of this work happened behind the scenes. Building strong foundations takes time, patience and the support of many people who believed in our vision from the beginning.
Today, we’re entering an exciting new chapter. We’ve emerged from our startup phase and continue to gain momentum. While there is still much to do, this feels like an important moment to pause and recognize what we’ve accomplished together.
The infrastructure we’ve built—our people, processes, partnerships and shared purpose—gives us a strong foundation for what comes next. We’re energized by the opportunities ahead and excited to continue building on everything we’ve worked so hard to create.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to sharing it with you.
