Rob Cooke

Research Manager, Distributed Systems and Hybrid Microgrids

Rob is a research and project manager who for more than a decade has supported remote communities across the North to lead and develop their own clean energy futures. With a Masters in Humanities, 12 years in government and academia, and 23 years as a Royal Navy aircraft engineer, he combines technical insight and know-how with deep respect for local leadership. Outside of work, Rob lives off-grid near Whitehorse with 45 huskies and has completed both the Yukon Quest and Iditarod sled dog races. He enjoys reading, fitness and northern travel by dog team.
