A portrait of Bill Kilgannon

Bill Kilgannon

Research Manager, Public Policy and Planning

Bill is an accomplished leader in public policy research and advocacy, with an extensive career as a Director of political and economic research institutes in Alberta and B.C. He brings deep expertise in developing impactful policy initiatives, building strong relationships with community partners, and elevating research programs to advance community-focused energy transformation. He has also worked at senior levels of government, produced documentary films in Central America and (when he was much younger) fought forest fires for 10 summers. Bill loves skiing, cooking, traveling, and exploring all the beautiful hiking trails around Victoria with his partner and his dog.
