Partner Contributions
Regional Chapter Engagement
ACET actively participates in the BCSEA Victoria Chapter, contributing applied research insights to community events and public engagement activities. This collaboration connects research and evidence-based knowledge to local energy initiatives and supporting informed dialogue on renewable energy and climate solutions.
The Victoria Chapter, one of BCSEA’s oldest and most active chapters, brings together a diverse membership of students, retirees, industry professionals, and government representatives. It focuses on advancing clean, renewable energy across the greater Victoria region and British Columbia, educating the public on energy use, greenhouse gas reduction, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Webinars and Knowledge Sharing
ACET researchers regularly contribute to BCSEA’s public webinars and events by sharing insights from applied research and community energy projects. These sessions provide opportunities for students, researchers, professionals, and community members to explore emerging technologies, policy developments, and industry trends.
Energy Connections
Energy Connections is an annual conference hosted by BCSEA that brings together leaders from industry, government, academia, and the non-profit sector to discuss key issues in the energy transition.
This year, 2026, ACET is supporting Energy Connections, contributing to dialogue between researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders. This year’s topics include sustainable energy economics, innovation, emerging technologies, and pathways to achieving net-zero emissions.
