GitLab is a web-based platform for software development and collaboration. You can use it to manage code, track changes and work with others on projects in a single place.
 
At UVic, GitLab is used for coursework, research and development projects. It provides tools for version control, issue tracking and collaboration, helping individuals and teams manage and share their work.

The Engingineering and Computer Science GitLab instance will be retired at the end of 2027. Please migrate any material you wish to keep to the UVic central instance.
