Computing facilities are located in three buildings across campus. Our facilities have drop-in areas with Windows and Mac computers, scanners, printers, photocopies and multimedia workstations.
Starting May 1, 2015, the following student computing facilities will be upgraded to the Windows 8.1 operating system:
- Clearihue A102 and A105
- Human and Social Development A170
- Business and Economics 170
New Dell OptiPlex 7020 desktops will be deployed in these facilities running Windows 8.1.
Starting May 1, 2015, the following student computing facilities will be upgraded to Apple OS X 10.10 Yosemite:
- Clearihue A103, A104, A108, A015
- CALL facility in Clearihue A051
- Multimedia iMac stations
These upgrades will ensure that the latest operating systems and subsequent updates are provided in our computing facilities.
The student computing facility in the Business and Economics Building (BEC) is situated on the lower floor and consists of three Windows computer classrooms and a drop-in area with both Macintosh and Windows computers as well as multimedia stations, scanners, printers, and a photocopier.
The student computing facility is located on the main and basement floors of A-wing of the Clearihue Building (CLE). It consists of two Windows and two Mac classrooms on the first floor and two Windows and one Mac classroom on the lower floor. Both areas provide access to drop-in workstations including multimedia stations, scanners, printers, and photocopiers.
The Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) facility assists with language learning and communication skills for academic, Continuing Studies and English as a second language (ESL) students. This facility is equipped with dual-boot iMac workstations and is located in the A-wing of the lower floor of the Clearihue Building. For more information, please see theCALL facility orientation.
