Alistair Vigier

Alistair is a Vancouver-based CEO that travels between Shanghai, Beijing, Victoria, Vancouver, and Toronto. He runs a Toronto Family Law Firm that is trying to innovate the legal industry.

He is doing that by having all his staff work remotely, which greatly reduces the law firm's impact on the environment. Fewer cars driving to and from work five days dramatically reduces the amount of CO2 in the air. A typical car emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, most of which is spent driving to and from work.

Also, staff that work from home are far less likely to be wasteful with the paper they use. The average office worker uses 10,000 sheets of copy paper each year. ClearWay Law plans to conduct a study for how much paper they are saving by having staff work from home.

Alistair was a winner of the BC Business Magazine's Top 30 under 30 award in 2017. You can connect with him on his LinkedIn.
