About Social Sciences

The Faculty of Social Sciences is a dynamic and multi-faceted community of people. We have over 140 regular faculty members, over 200 additional adjunct, emeritus and sessional faculty, and approximately 30 support employees. Our student community includes roughly 400 graduate students and over 4500 undergraduate students.

We thrive in a culture based on excellent teaching and world-class scholarship, innovation and professional practice. We are committed to diversity. Our student population comes from BC, across Canada and from countries around the world.
