Anh Duong is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Rowe. His current research interests are in integrated energy systems modelling and optimization, with a focus on understanding pathways toward reliable and low-carbon energy systems.

Prior to returning to academia, Anh developed extensive engineering and leadership experience with Schlumberger (SLB) in the energy sector. His work spanned well construction, stimulation, and well intervention, with responsibilities across engineering, technology development, operations, and technical management. He has also authored and co-authored numerous technical publications, particularly in well integrity and advanced materials and technologies for challenging energy applications. Anh is now building on this industry experience as he transitions into integrated energy systems research.
